It's not a question of whether you have a writer within; it's how can you set her free.

TUSCANY  October 2 – 9, 2021

In this week-long writing retreat, you will focus on finding and nurturing your unique vision while surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded women. During this week together, we will consider plot, dialogue, characterization, imagery, and more. As you become curious about story ideas, inspirations, and blocks, you’ll discover and embrace your own story. Kathryn is dedicated to getting you beyond your internal critic and into your creative flow and has a unique and effective teaching style that instills confidence and promotes growth. What could be better for your writing than getting away from the stresses of everyday life? We will take care of everything; all you have to do is relax, reconnect with your creative flow, and write like you’ve always wanted to.

The Villa Castellare de Sernigi, located about 45 minutes form Florence, will be your home for the week. This 800 year-old villa has been owned by the Corti family since the 1950’s and has been lovingly restored to include every modern convenience while retaining its charm. Every bedroom as a luxurious ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning.

Our private chef will delight us with regional specialties using locally sourced produce, and can accommodate most dietary needs. You won’t go hungry!
